This is an extended day trip so please be prepared for a 3 hour drive to and from Paris. As this tour will be completely private you’ll have some flexibility to modify the stops on the day. Just talk to your guide to see what is possible.

Due to ongoing renovation works, Pointe du Hoc may not be accessible during part of 2026 & 2027. In the event of site closure, the visit will be replaced with another major D-Day location, such as Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, Angoville or Carentan.

These alternative sites offer a similar historical significance. Your guide will ensure you enjoy a meaningful and informative experience, whichever site is available on the day of your tour.

Tour Duration: This is a full-day private tour from Paris, so be prepared for a full day of historical exploration (typically 10-12 hours).

Walking & Activity Level: While comfortable transportation is provided, there will be walking involved during visits to the beaches, cemeteries, and Pointe du Hoc. Moderate physical fitness is recommended.

    Absolutely! We will come and pick you up at any Paris Train Station, Hotel, AirBnB or accommodation in Paris Center. If you arriving in a Paris airport such as Charles de Gaull or Orly, we have also made it possible for you to book your transfer to Paris directly on our website. 

    If you choose the Airport pick up option, we will transfer you to Paris and begin your Private Tour strait away so that you do not loose any time. At the end of the day, we will drop you off at your accommodation in Paris.

  • What type of vehicles are used during a Private Sightseeing Tour of Paris?

    Our company uses only Premium cars or minivans that are recent, comfortable and fully equipped including individual A/C, shaded windows, large leg space.

  • Who conducts your Private Tours from Paris?

    We only employ accredited and licensed tour guides that are also the drivers for all tours that need visits to be conducted by certified guides. Good examples are: the visit of museums, guided walking tours in cities, visit of historical monuments and so on.

    On this particular day trip, your tour will be conducted by an English speaking driver / guide (other languages on request), Expert of the Normandy region of France.

    No, we never include lunch on our private tours. However, let us know if you would like us to suggest and pre-book a local restaurant reservation. Our team will be happy to organize this for you at no extra cost.

    You can also talk with your guide directly in the morning. Let him know your wishes and she/he will adapt the tour accordingly and suggest the best possible options.
