Our Guide, Steve, was really knowledgeable. The van was roomy and comfortable, we made it to every stop on the itinerary, as well as lunch in Carantan (lunch price not included in booking...cafe was very affordable, delicious, and saved us the hassle of packing food). Suggest bringing suitable raincoat and weatherproof shoes as it rained buckets our whole tour. We carried on despite the foul weather, and had a great experience overall. Because we were ahead of schedule, the guide permitted time for a short tour on our own of the Utah Beach Museum. Plenty of places and opportunities for WC/toilet throughout the day. Meeting place was very near the Churchill Hotel in Bayeux. Great tour that allows one to fully immerse in the history and scenery without the hassle of planning the drive, finding parking, and researching the history of the 1940-44 occupation, D-Day planning, logistics, execution, and subsequent liberation of the area.
