When to visit Champagne

Champagne packages run year-round, though the most popular seasons are spring (April–June), when the vines are in flower and the region is at its most photogenic, and harvest (September–October), when the picking is underway and the cellars are at their most active and welcoming.

Winter visits offer a more intimate atmosphere and shorter queues at the major houses, while summer brings long days and ideal conditions for vineyard walks.
