Your first stop will be at the indoor market where you will taste there a selection of regional cheeses and some seafood delights that arrive directly from the neighboring port town of Sète.

Stroll through the picturesque medieval streets and sample the traditional “fougasse”. It is a type of flatbread that is typically shaped like a leaf or an ear of wheat and has a crisp crust and a soft, airy interior. Fougasse is often flavored with olive oil and herbs like rosemary or thyme, which give it a distinct and savory taste. It is a versatile bread that can be served as a side dish, as a base for toppings like cheese and vegetables, or simply enjoyed on its own.
