The château’s architecture reflects the influence of the Italian Renaissance and features a massive central keep flanked by four corner towers. With more than 440 rooms, 282 fireplaces, and 84 staircases, Chambord is an extraordinary testament to royal ambition and architectural innovation.

At the heart of the keep lies the famous double helix staircase, attributed by tradition to Leonardo da Vinci’s inspiration.
