Then board your air conditioned vehicle, and begin to make your way to the Spindler Marquetry museum & workshop.
Spindler Marquetry Art
Established in 1893 by Charles Spindler, the marquetry workshop is today owned by his grand-son Jean-Charles who took over the business in 1975. Today the workshop produces contemporary creations as well as more traditional pieces. Upon arrival, visit the Museum that houses a large selection of works made by Charles Spindler - furniture, marquetry panels, works of decorative art or sculptures. After the visit of the museum, take some time in the Gallery and why not purchase a unique work from this prestigious workshop?
Beauvillé Textiles
Discover the story of Beauvillé manufacture, the sole remaining fabric printing by hand established more than 200 years ago. Known throughout the world for the high-end quality of its tablecloths and household linens, Beauvillé is synonym to quality, luxury and tradition. Here, your guide will take you to the heart of the Beauvillé production in Ribeauvillé France.
Riquewihr village
Discover the charming village of Riquewihr after your morning visits. Stroll through the medieval streets and enjoy lunch (at own expense) in one of the local restaurants where you will be able to taste some of the local foods. Don't hesitate to ask your guide for suggestions or recommendations.
Visit the Oldest Distillery of Alsace
After lunch, it will be time to head to the Lehman Distillery that is the oldest in Alsace. The distillery was founded in 1850 and has been in the same family ever since for more than 6 generations. The distillery has also obtained the sought after quality label of " Living Heritage Company" this is awarded to the best craftsmen or artisan workshops in France. Your visit will be taken care of by the master distiller who will go over the process of distillation with you and even share a few family secrets.
