Experience the Best Wines of the Colmar Wine Region
At first sight, the Alsatian Wine Route offers a true picture-postcard image; fresh vines climbing to the forests of the Vosges, ruins of castles dating back to the Middle Ages, villages with old ramparts that only protect the happiness of the flowered lanes, hospitable wine stubs, and lively cellars. But, it also pictures ancient abodes, Romanesque churches or fountains generously left by the Renaissance.
Renowned for its aromatic white wines, the region is ideally suited with a dry and sunny climate, complex geology, favorable soils and excellent exposure. During this half day tour you will wine taste in 2 wineries so as to find out all there is to know about the 7 different types of Alsace wines.
The Colmar wine region is on your program for this half day tour. Departing from the Alsatian wine capital, the tour will take you to quaint small villages such as Eguisheim, Pfaffenheim, Rouffach or Turckheim. In the villages, meet the wine makers who will explain the expertise needed behind wine-making. The visits end with the tasting of several wines that have been carefully chosen so that you may have a good idea of the range of wines produced in Alsace.

Great wine tasting trip – A tour through beautiful country with a knowledgeable tour leader to visit wineries. Each winery had a range of tastings and a good discourse on the growing of the grape and the wine produced.
Great experience and a lovely guide – With our very nice guide Daniele, a very well mixed group of members and some amazing wines, this trip was totally worth it.
Don’t miss this tour!! – We had a great time on the Alsace wine route tour. Flo was very friendly, warm and entertaining! We all fell in love with the picturesque little villages along the way and of course the wine was spectacular!
Great morning winetasting – We had a great time visiting two wineries in a morning, as well as driving through the Alsace countryside and having some time to explore the small towns. Great guide too.
Wonderful Trip! – Our guide Bridgette and the tour was wonderful and a perfect amount of time (and wine)! We loved seeing little towns and sampling some of Alsace’s finest wines! Memories of a lifetime!
