Meet your English speaking guide who is an expert on Burgundy Wines & Culture and who will go over the program and itinerary of your shared Burgundy wine and sightseeing tour with you. Then, board your Premium, air-conditioned vehicle and begin your full day small group tour to discover the Burgundy vineyards and wine producing region. 

Wine Tasting Session

After a short drive, reach the Burgundy wine region and the Côte de Nuits. Participate in a Burgundy wine tasting session in a traditional cellar of the area. Commented by your wine guide, taste a carefully selected number of wines including Burgundy white wines and Pinot Noirs. 

Visit Château Clos de Vougeot

Since the 11th century, the monks of Citeaux cultivated their vines in the heart of the Burgundy region. In need of buildings as they exploited large lands, Vougeot became the heart of their production area where a Vat House and Cellars were erected. Today one can still admire 4 huge wine presses and stroll through the immense 'Grand Cellier' wine cellar built above ground. During the Renaissance period a Manor House was built and in 1920 the Château was declared Historical Monument.

In 2015, the Climats de Bourgogne were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list and the decision was made to make Château Clos de Vougeot the headquarters of the Climats de Bourgogne. The Château is also home to the famous Chevaliers du Tastevin wine society that is composed of more than 12 000 members that promote the wines from Burgundy all over the world.

Panoramic tour 

After the visit, we will take you on a panoramic tour of the vineyards and drive through the Hautes Côte de Nuits and picture perfect landscape where we will stop for photo opportunities. We will also pass through the Ouche Valley to discover the Burgundy Canal that dates back to the 18th century. We will then return to Dijon, and that will be the end of our services.
