Today we will come and pick you up at your hotel or accommodation in Strasbourg.
Meet your expert English speaking local driver/guide
In the morning, meet your English speaking guide who is an expert on Alsace and who will go over the itinerary and program with you. Then, board your spacious, comfortable, air conditioned Mercedes minivan and begin to make your way to the Alsace wine producing region.
Travel in spacious premium vehicles
Your private Alsace Wine Tour will take place in one of our very spacious Mercedes Minivans. This vehicle can take up to 8 persons normally but on this occasion, the vehicle will only be for you. This allows you to choose the seat that you think best in terms of social distancing while still enjoying the information passed on by your guide.
All our vehicles are equipped with an on board P/A system that allows you to hear the commentary of your driver/guide no matter where you are seated. Also, there is free Wi-Fi access on all tour vehicles. Bottled water is also available in all our vehicles.
Depart for the town of Colmar
This highly recommended full day tour has been carefully designed for travelers that wish to get the most out of their stay here in Alsace. The Pearls of Alsace tour combines what we believe are the most essential visits that one must make while in the region. It includes the visits of towns, monuments, small traditional villages and historical landmarks.
Pick-up in Strasbourg and depart for the beautiful town of Colmar. Discover the charm of the old town, its prestigious monuments, the Pfister house, the Koïfhus, Saint Martin collegiate church and the picturesque neighborhoods of small Venice or of the tanners.
Visit Eguisheim & Riquewihr villages
Then depart for the most beautiful village of Eguisheim. Surrounded by vineyards, the narrow and concentric streets highlight the architectural merits of its half-timbered houses, lovingly decorated with flowers. After a walking tour in the village your small group tour then continues on to the beautiful town of Riquewihr.
Surrounded by ramparts, the village has been very fortunate to survive war and destruction. Its tiny streets, fortified walls and old houses have preserved their 16C splendor virtually intact, making for remarkable architectural harmony. Free time for personal discovery and lunch. You can also ask your guide for suggestions if you would like to participate in a wine tasting.
Follow the stunning Alsace Wine Route
During your Alsace day trip, you will follow the Alsace wine route. Located between the Rhine valley and the Vosges mountain range, the 60 year old route winds across the slopes for more than 170 kms. The itinerary leads across rows of undulating, vine covered hills and through quaint villages with narrow streets and charming flower decked houses clustered around the local church steeple.
End the day with Haut Koenigsbourg castle visit
Finally, reach Haut Koenigsbourg Castle. Here, follow your guide for a tour of this mighty fortress that overlooks the valley. Built in the 12th century, the castle occupied a strategic position controlling the wine and wheat routes to the north and the salt route that came from the east. After the visit return to Strasbourg.

Our company uses only premium cars & minivans that can take up to a maximum of 8 passengers. All vehicles are new or recent, comfortable, spacious and have A/C. For larger groups, you will need to contact us directly. -

All our tours are conducted by English speaking guides that are also, in most cases, the driver. Commentaries on board the vehicles during driving time. All walking tours and guided visits are taken care of by your guide. For a more personalized experience, we can also organize any private tour with both driver and guide.
