Depart from Cannes Cruise Port
From the city of Cannes France known for its famous croisette boulevard and film festival palace and red carpet, depart for a full day tour to visit the Principality of Monaco and its Capital Monte Carlo. Then reach the medieval village of Eze where you will have some free time to explore a unique location praised by painters and actors alike and that offers stunning views over the French Riviera.
Arrive in the village of Eze
Hanging over the Sea, the hilltop village of Eze has retained all its charms throughout the centuries. From the ruins of its medieval fortress to its charming, narrow streets, the small village now attracts a multitude of artisans and artists. Established in what used to be barns or sheepfolds, they definitely contribute to the local ambiance of this peaceful area.
Celebrated for the calm that can be found here, numerous writers have also decided to settle down here, one of the most famous being Nietzsche who it is said to have written Thus Spoke Zarathustra in Eze. Visit the village and then discover the Fragonard perfume factory.
Visit a perfume factory
The famous perfume company Fragonard was established in 1926 by Eugène Fuchs who named his company after the 18th c. French Painter and to pay homage to the town of Grass (the French capital of perfumes) for having greeted the famed painter and his family. During the visit, discover the manufacturing secrets of the products: perfumes, soaps and cosmetics developed from the best raw materials using an expertise which combines traditional methods and modern techniques.
Reach Monaco
After the visit, head towards Monaco and walk in the small streets of the old town. Your tour will include the changing of the Guards of the royal palace that takes place just before midday. You will also have the possibility of visiting the Neo Romanesque Cathedral as well as the Memorial dedicated to Princess Grace & Rainier of Monaco.
End the tour in Monte-Carlo
Finally, end the tour in Monte-Carlo. Here you will discover the famous Old Casino, the Hotel de Paris and Café de Paris, the beautiful Gardens not forgetting the Deluxe Boutiques. Upon arrival or departure, you will also have the opportunity to drive on the Formula one grand prix race track. The drive back to Cannes will also include the famous low coastal road.

What is the Perfume Factory visit in Eze all about?
This part of France is famous for being the location of most of the French Perfume Factories that elaborate perfumes for the most famous perfume making companies of France.
Inaugurated in 1968, the factory enjoys a prime location at the foot of the rock overlooking the sea, along the mythical Riviera coastal road between Nice and Monaco. This enormous perfume factory’s modern design is particularly well showcased against the backdrop of the charming medieval village of Eze. The tour of the perfume factory includes a visit to the cosmetics laboratory where the brand’s creams and other skin care products are made.
Here, take a tour of the factory with a guide trained by a professional perfume maker and who knows all about the history of the trade. After exploring the manufacturing techniques and the history of the precious fluids, test your nose with a free olfactory game at the end of the tour. -
