| Description : | Depart for a panoramic tour of Toulouse to admire the main monuments of the city: Capitole Square, St Sernin Basilica, St Etienne Cathedral and as well the Airbus Assembly Lines (panoramic tour). After some free time for lunch in Toulouse drive to Carcassonne. Upon arrival, enjoy a walking tour of the 'Cité'. This powerful mediaeval fortress has defeated times, as it is one of the most well-preserved fortified medieval cities of Europe. As such, it has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO since 1997 enabling the city to preserve most of its Gothic architectural treasures.
