| Description : | The Provence region boasts some of the most spectacular Roman architecture that has withstood the forces of time. Depart for Nimes considered to be the French Roma. There you will discover the amphitheatre (entrance included) and the 'Maison Carré' the sole remaining fully built Roman Temple. Also, visit Augustu's gate as well as the outstanding Castellum (water distribution station). From there head to Uzès, a wonderful medieval town and the first Duchy of France. Finally, visit the unique Pont du Gard, a perfect example of Roman civil architecture.
