| Description : | This tour is perfect for those that wish to know a little bit more about the vineyards of Provence in general and of Chateauneuf du Pape in detail. Considered as one of the most prestigious vineyards of France, the reds are mainly obtained with a blend of Grenache, mourvèdre and Syrah while the whites use Picpoul, Clairette, Grenache blanc amongst others. The appelation is allowed to use 13 different grape varieties, giving the wine grower a considerable amount of choice when blending the wines. Enjoy 2 wine tasting session at family run wineries and learn about the "Terroir", vinification process and the art of wine tasting. * Mon+Thur: 2 wine tastings at Châteauneuf-du-Pape
