| Description : | This tour is dedicated to small villages classified as "Most beautiful of France". Start with Carrenac where Renaissance houses with sculpted windows and brown roofs are clustered around a Cluniac priory. Then reach Loubressac. Perched on a promontory the village invites visitors to discover its charming medieval houses built of ochre stone and capped with pointed roofs. Finally, end with the visit of outstanding Bretenoux castle the residence of a rich baronial family until 1715. Its towers, thick walls and domestic quarters illustrate its architectural development over the centuries.
