You will then head for Les Baux de Provence, a medieval village built on a rocky spur . It is ranked among the most beautiful Provence villages located in the picturesque countryside of the Alpilles hillrange.During your free time, enjoy its typical streets, the Santon museum, Saint Vincent Church and a spectacular view from the top of the village.

In St Remy de Provence, you will stop to discover the Roman monuments (a triumphal arch and a funeral monument) , known as well to be the location where Van Gogh painted some of his most beautiful paintings. Then continue your visit of provence with the area of The Luberon, seeing Gordes and Roussillon, which are 2 other villages classified as the most beautiful villages in France. Gordes is known to be perched on a rock. Your free time will give you the opportunity to walk in its narrow cobbled streets and to see the dry stones, typical from the luberon called « lauze ». Roussillon is famous for its natural red and yellow ochre cliffs and for the red colour of the houses in the village.

From mid June  to mid July , photo stop at Senanque Abbey to discover the lavender field in bloom. The asset of your provence trip is to know everything about lavender. That is why you will spend time in the Lavender museum to learn about lavender and to see old machinery dedicated to produce the essential oil. Entrance fee included. This tour will show you some of the best things to do in Provence !

From 2016 April 1st, from mid june to mid july , no visit of the lavender museum, it will be replaced by the photo stop at the Abbaye of Senanque.
