DESCRIPTION :

Set off on an excursion to Padirac a natural, 75 meter chasm, that shows on the limestone plateau of the "Causse de Gramat" in the Lot, below which, at 103 meters underground flows a river. Experience a visit and enjoy and underground river boat ride inside the Abyss.

Then, off to the pilgrimage and fortress village of Rocamadour that has attracted visitors for its setting in a gorge above a tributary of the River Dordogne, and especially for its historical monuments and its sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which for centuries has attracted pilgrims from every country, among them kings, bishops, and nobles. Here, follow your guide and visit the renowned Notre Dame Chapel, part of an extraordinary 13th-century chapel complex perched on a cliff and one of the most dramatic pilgrimage sites in Europe.

Finally, stop at the Gardens of Eyrignac. The Manor d'Eyrignac is a 17th century manor house in Salignac-Eyvigues, surrounded by a recreated 18th century Italian Renaissance garden and an elaborate topiary garden. The house is located on top of a hill, with water coming from seven springs. Only a pavilion, fountains and basins remain from the original 18th century garden. In the 1960s, the new owner, Giles Sermadiras de Cuzols de Lile, created the new garden, which features topiary sculptures, vistas, fountains, statues, and an alley of vases. The garden is listed by the Committee of Parks and Gardens of the French Ministry of Culture as one of the Notable Gardens of France.
